PLUMBER’S CHOICE GETS E1.4M TENDER

MBABANE – Plumber’s Choice Investments (Pty) Ltd stands to bag the supply and delivery of building material of Ferro-Cement tanks to ESWADE.
Plumber’s Choice Investments (Pty) Ltd submitted a bid for E1 449 704.09 as it outbidded four other companies.

This was disclosed by Samson Sithole, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Eswatini Water and Agricultural Development Enterprise (ESWADE).
Sithole said in terms of section 45 of the Public Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 (the Act), following a competitive bidding process, notice was given that a contract award decision for the above cited tender had been reached by the approvals authority.

A local company, Glad Tidings Companies Investment (Pty) Ltd, was another that sought the project and submitted a bid of E 1 365 481.25. However, it was not evaluated as the company got disqualified.

The reason for the disqualification was cited as that the company submitted Form J that did not have a clear stamp from the Registrar of companies as required by the tender document hence there was no proof of endorsement of the Form J and its content by the Registrar of companies.
Also, CYB/SAB Investments (Pty) Ltd TI A CYB-SAB General Suppliers, a local company had an evaluation price of E 1 660 346.71. Also, McAll Investments (Pty) Ltd was evaluated at E 1 738 437.98.

The last company to tender was DLSETH Investments (Pty) Ltd which sought to render the same services at E 1 994 147.93.
