TWO COMPANIES DISQUALIFIED IN SWACAA’S OVER E200 000 TENDER

 MBABANE – Two companies were disqualified in SWACAA’s over E200 000 climate survey tender.


The Pacific Institute of Swaziland and MBHL (Pty) Ltd were disqualified because their technical evaluation scores were below the 70 per cent qualifying mark.
The Swaziland Civil Aviation Authority (SWACAA) disclosed that the best evaluated tenderer which stands to be granted the tender was Emergency Growth. The company which priced their bid at E235 698.60 will be granted the job soon after the lapse of a 10 day working period for the submission of an application of a review in line with the Public Procurement Act of 2011.


Tender results issued by the Swaziland Public Procurement Regulatory Agency (SPPRA) reflect that Emergency Growth scored 84.18 per cent total evaluation score. It was closely followed by 360 Degree Business Solution which scored 72.33 per cent during evaluation.

The latter had priced their bid at E482 500.
It should be mentioned that in another SWACAA tender for waste management services, PSSN Investments and The Specialist Pest Control, were disqualified by the tender evaluation committee for failing to score more than 80 per cent when their technical proposals were evaluated. 


The eventual shortlisted company, EcoBuzz Investments, which stood to enter into a contract with the SWACAA for provision of integrated waste management services at the Matsapha and King Mswati International Airports, scored 94.75 per cent.


 The company, who priced their bid at E3 972 951.97, ought to sign a three year contract with SWACAA soon after the lapse of the waiting period for submission of any application for review in line with the procurement legislation.
