MBABANE – Want a custom-made ring or necklace manufactured from either platinum, gold with GIA certified diamonds?

Or a wrsit watch to boost your appeal at your next big meeting where you desperately hope to clinch a contract.

Schofield & Co, a custom jewellery brand illustrating the heritage of Africa through matchless design and quality, is the answer!
The family business, already fully operational in South Africa and United Arab Emirates (UAE), has invested E3 million to set up operations in the kingdom. In only two years, the company has reportedly evaluated itself at E8 million.

The company, established by Keenin and Kyle Schofield in memory of their father Frank Eddy Schofield who introduced the brothers to the mineral trade in Africa, said they were firmly grounded by the principles of trust and loyalty, drawing inspiration from the rich heritage of Africa, as a result developing Jewellery pieces that encompass the story-line of what Africa is today.

Explaining what had been the motivation to operate their business from Swaziland, Keenin explained that they grew up in Swaziland, Big Bend where they did primary school at Ubombo Primary School before moving to South Africa (Johannesburg).
He said apart from their Swazi roots, they were strongly of the view that there is a market need especially for premium clients in Swaziland and the rest of Africa, who are their main target clientele.

‘The company has been fully registered in Swaziland and ready to service premium clients,” said Keenin.
He explained that their intention was to trade with the rest of the world through Swaziland as their hub. Further, Keenin pointed out that their ultimate objective was to open a jewelry manufacturing plant and Jewelry Design School in the kingdom depending on the market reaction.
