MBABANE – Strength Incorporated has been granted the Municipal Council of Ezulwini consultancy services tender for the 2018/19 strategic plan review and budgeting process.

The company had scored a whopping 100 per cent during the tender evaluation exercise as reflected in documents published by the Swaziland Public Procurement Regulatory Agency (SPPRA).

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Vusi Matsebula yesterday confirmed that the company had been officially granted the tender.
He disclosed that they had actually started executing their duties in accordance with the contract entered into with the municipality.
“The tender was granted to Strength Incorporated after there were no applications for review following publication of the intention to award,” Matsebula confirmed.

Results of the evaluation exercise were issued in terms of the Public Procurement Act of 2011. It should be mentioned that Strength Incorporated, who emerged as the best evaluated tenderers with a 100 per cent on evaluation, were closely followed by Interlink Professionals who were evaluated to be at 68 per cent.

Interlink had priced their proposal at E186 960.
The tender results also reflect that five companies were disqualified from the tender.
The reasons for rejection ranged between failing to separate technical and financial proposal, failing to submit two copies and original copy of the tender.

Ncele Investments, Dynamic Health System and Noesis Consultancy Group bought the tender but did not submit before deadline.
When the tender results were initially issued, it had been precisely mentioned that the contract award decision did not constitute a contract.
