MBABANE – A property development punter took advantage of the reduced price of the spacious six bedroom house - with ample space for more developments – to buy it for E1.5 million.

The house, whose reserve price had earlier been E2 million but was reduced to E1.3 million, was sold by public auction by Deputy Sheriff Thabiso Hlanze at the Mbabane Magistrates Court last Friday.
The auction was attended by only five bidders.

The house is located on the remaining extent of portion 47 of farm Dalriach number 188, Mbabane.
The house, which has fully furnished servants quarters, sits on a plot measuring 2 979 square metres and held under deed of transfer number 317/ 1989 dated July 31, 1989.

The single storey house was a good investment considering the fact the buyer will be in a position to construct another house within the property without having to acquire more land.
The house also has tarred road access.

The semi detached servants quarters further make the house a good investment since the buyer will not have to pay more to accommodate support staff at the premises.
The double garage house with fully air-conditioned rooms also has in-built wardrobes.

It should also be pointed out that the capital city continues to be a preferred investment destination. This is evident through the number of new commercial properties being constructed within the vicinity of the capital city which is changing its skyline rapidly.
The property developments are undertaken by both private and public companies.
