MATSAPHA – The Linac Group looks determined to give the country’s popular grocery retailers a run for their money as it will be opening five OK Foods Stores within three years.

This was disclosed by Linac Group Director Lincoln Motsa yesterday.
Linac Group has been all along running SaveMor Stores which are under the Spar brand. The areas targeted by Motsa are Manzini, Matsapha, Mbabane, Siteki and Pigg’s Peak.

“The OK team from the Durban OK Head Office has already visited a number of these potential sites in the country, where new stores can be opened. We are therefore committed to open the store in the said areas as that is in line with our expansion strategy as a business,” Motsa said. He said with the assistance from the knowledgeable OK team, they will be able to cover at least three of these areas within the next three years.

Other than the opening of the OK Foods Stores, the Linac Group director said they would also open other stores which would operate under the SaveMart brand. The stores would be opened in Matsapha, Ezulwini and Mbabane.
The SaveMart Stores will enjoy the same customer service which will be afforded to our customers at our OK branded stores.

Brand

It is under the largest retail house in Africa, Shoprite. Currently, there are 350 franchised OK Stores in South Africa alone.

Motsa said OK will use three of its brands in Swaziland; OK Foods, OK MiniMark and OK Liquor.
