Local thrill at Vinny Da Vinci show

MANZINI - Local deejays and musicians outdid themselves at the launch of Vinny da Vinci’s latest house compilation on Saturday.

The event, which took place at the Mavuso Sports Café, was attended by a fair crowd which danced till 5am.

Though starting on a low note, the show picked up at around midnight with fun lovers coming in numbers.

First to drop the hottest beats was DJ Mixmash whose selection of the latest house beats was just fantastic.

He was followed by the immensely talented rapper Diba Diba whose vernacular lyrics drove the ladies wild.

SwaziBoy Entertainment legendary spinner DJ Crooks made sure everyone left their seats to get down on the dance floor during his set.

DJ Tibza also proved that he hasn’t lost his touch as he dished out good hits throughout his set.

The main man, Vinny da Vinci, took over the turntables after 2am and showed why he is regarded as one of the deep house music kings as he turned the whole event into nothing but a night of good music.

The show was spiced up by the MTV MEETS SD crew who would from time to time take to the deejay box to promote the ongoing competition and give away airtime vouchers to lucky fun lovers.
