He cheated - and has the proof
MBABANE – A married man’s stolen moment with his secret lover on his marital bed has caused serious problems for him.
The man, a well-known per-sonality in the country’s construction sector, took various sexy and seductive pictures of her petite lover sitting cosily on his marital bed.
He took the pictures using the camera of a cellphone belonging to his wife who was away in South Africa.
He forgot to delete the images of the other woman when he handed the phone back to his wife.
His wife got hold of the picture of the young lover and is distributing it to as many people as possible. She has sent it to various email addresses, including this newspaper’s.
She wants anyone who knows the young woman to warn her against wrecking people’s marriages.
The 54-year-old *Pedro’s wife is not taking the incident lying down.
She has since moved out of their marital home and has relocated to South Africa.
The couple is in separation.
*Maria (44) said she was saddened that her husband took the pictures using her cellphone when he had his own.
She does not understand his motive and feels that the pictures were meant to show her that he had another lover.
However, she is thanking her gods for the incident.
"I have always known that my husband was cheating on me with younger women. All along, he denied the affairs and I could not nail him because I did not have tangible proof," she said.
She said the pictures which were taken on June 22, had wrecked her marriage.
"He tried to explain why he took the pictures of the woman but it does not make sense to me how a woman could get into our bedroom and be photographed in those positions," she said.
Maria said when she enquired about the pictures, her husband admitted to have taken them but maintained his innocence when allegations of infidelity were levelled against him.
She said instead of addressing the issue in a civil manner, he got physical and abused her.
Maria said she escaped the abuse and left the country for South Africa where she was still trying to recover from the incident.
She alleged that before she found the pictures, her husband spent hours watching pornography videos in the family lounge, alone.
She said she was disappointed that instead of implementing what he learnt from these videos in bed with her, he chose to use the skills on other women.
She was even more disappointed that he took the women to the marital bedroom.
"I have warned him several times to be honest and he always denied that he was cheating on me. Now that the truth is out, there is nothing he can do," she said.
She said when she asked her husband about the pictures, he told her that the woman was only a friend.
"I asked him what she was doing in my bed looking so comfortable when I m not there if she was just a friend," she said.
Maria said the family had a policy that no one was allowed to sit on their bed when either of them was not around.
"If she wanted to watch TV, she could have sat on the big lounge and he could have taken the decoder to the lounge," she said.
She also said when she made the bed, she did so in a special way but in the pictures, the bed was made up in a different way.
Maria says the woman who was taken by her husband to bed was a home wrecker.
She does not buy the story told by her husband that she was a friend.
"You cannot consider this type of seducer as friends. They are home wreckers.
How can she allow my husband to take her pictures on our bed?" she said.
She said as a result of her husband’s infidelity, her world had fallen apart.
"My life might as well end," she said. Maria said the photos were proof of what she considered the end of an episode of ‘An Abused Woman’ "To the Swazi nation, if this is your sister, daughter, wife or friend I would like to know why my husband is taking pictures of her in my bedroom on my bed and she looks very comfortable," she said.
"I despise women and men who break up marriages. It is because of them that my husband called me all sorts of names and beats me.
"Once, I ended up in a psychiatric hospital."
She said her husband had cheated on her for five years but she had never caught him.
"You know, God is so good. I read my husband like a book. When he is busy with women, he plays the blame game and after a few days, God reveals the evidence just like this time," she said.
