EZULWINI – Prime Minister Sibusiso Dlamini said we must all look to our own environmental responsibility.

He said this at the gala dinner which was held at the Royal Swazi Sun in commemoration of World Environment Day.

He said every individual needs to move away from the attitude that ‘my personal behaviour wont make any impact’ and that we should all set ourselves tasks such to reduce, reuse and recycle to save the environ ment.

He highlighted practices such as reducing energy consumption in our homes and businesses, reducing overexploitation of indigenous forests and recycling appropriate materials to reduce the impact of landfills.

With regards to the Rio+20 Summit, he said that despite all the commitments which were made at Rio 1992, "progress in reaching the goals has been slower than anticipated."

He received gifts from SEA and its partners as a token of appreciation for his attendance and support of the event.
