Plans to take Miss Heritage to world contest
MBABANE – Director of Miss Cultural Heritage Noncedo Mbambo is planning to take the next queen to the Miss Cultural Heritage World beauty contest.
The queen will be crowned on the night of August 4, 2012 at a venue yet to be confirmed.
Mbambo of Ncedos Investments said she was doing all she could for the new queen to participate in the world contest.
"I am working hard and would like the next queen to represent Swaziland in the international pageant. I am still gathering all the necessary documents and information. I have a long way to go with the girls who will take part in the pageant. They need to be groomed on how to take care of themselves and what the winning trio is expected to do in as far as charity projects are concerned," said Mbambo.
The next eliminations for the Hhohho region will be held tomorrow at the Mbabane Club.
On another note, the 12 girls who will take part in the finals will donate siSwati books to private schools.
"The girls will embark on a project where we will see their personalities if they are able to commit themselves.
They are expected to work as a team where they will donate the books in some private schools with the aim of promoting the siSwati language. This project will start after July 24 where the remaining 12 will also be attending workshops," Mbambo said.
